Hide, Seek and Treat

If you've been looking for a more entertaining and mentally challenging way for your dog to work for their favourite treats try introducing them to the Dog Smart Puzzle toy. The Dog Smart Puzzle Toy is a must-have for dogs parents who are looking at starting to use dog puzzles to stimulate and train your dog.

This treat-hiding game features a base with hidden compartments and bone-shaped “puzzle pieces” that conceal the treats. The tops of the bones have scent holes to make finding treats easier for your dog.

How to play: The aim is for your dog to pull out the white bones and locate treats hidden underneath. Here's the simplest instruction for this game:

  • Place treats or kibble in compartments of base. Cover treat compartments with bones.
  • The more compartments that are covered, the harder the game will be.
  • how your dog where the treats are and watch them find the tasty reward!

Quick Tip! You can leave some bones without treats, encouraging your dog to really think and sniff.

INCREASE DIFFICULTY: TThe bones in this dog puzzle can be arranged to be flush with the board or elevated for different levels of challenges. When the bones (puzzle pieces) on the Dog Smart are flush with the board, your dog will learn to paw and nuzzle at the pieces differently than when the bones are elevated and more easily removable.

Removable Parts: This dog puzzle toy has removable parts, ensure you teach your dog that removable parts are not to be chewed only removed.

Size: 27cm dismeter and 3.5cm tall

Difficulty: Level 1 Challenge - Great for introducing your dog to treat training games, this Level 1 dog game gets your dog interested in games and prepares your pup for more exciting and challenging puzzles to come.

Care: To wash your dog's Dog Smart Puzzle, simply remove all treats/kibble and hand wash with soapy water, rinse clean and dry.

Usage Advice: Always supervise when playing, and don't let the dog chew on the toy. It is important to teach your dog how to use the puzzle, play and have fun together the put away until next time. These puzzles are very durable for pawing and throwing, but sensitive for chewing. Nina Ottosson toys are not chew toys.
